How can you tell if a sentence is referring to a certain quantity of something?
“De” alone will be used.
Ex: Il boit beaucoup de lait. - He drinks a lot of milk.
Elle boit du lait.
She drinks milk.
Elle boit beaucoup de lait.
She drinks a lot of milk.
Il ne boit pas de lait.
He doesn’t drink milk.
