A
  • exclude food causing the problem from all meals
  • check labels on all food products, including on regular food purchases as ingredients may have changed
  • check menus carefully and ask for advice if unsure when eating out
  • identify replacements for foods that cannot be eaten, to ensure a balance of nutrients in diet
  • carry EpiPen and make sure anyone you are in regular contact with is aware of condition and where to find EpiPen
