Potted end sept/early Oct into moistened bulb fibre
Placed in cold, dark, moist environment eg cold garage or fridge at 4degrees for 13 weeks to encourage bud and flower development
Move to a well lit location at 16degrees for 4 weeks

Basal rot/bulb rot
Pinkish white fungus between affected scales and base plate in stored bulbs.
When planted foliage may yellow prematurely and not flower
No chemical control.
Plant resistant cultivars
Don’t store damaged or soft bulbs.
