FV = PV (1 + r/100 n). PV = present value. N = time in years R = nominal annual interest rate
Compound interest formula for future value
FV = PV (1+ r/100k)^kn.
N = time in years R = nominal annual interest rate. K = the number of compounding periods per year
Depeciation formula for calculating future value
FV = PV ( 1+ r/100)^n
PV = present value. N = number of periods R = the depreciation rate. Per period (a negative number)
