--theology of dealing with salvation after you die --problem: how salvation works and who can be saved. We say that you can have vicarious ordinances done and can be taught the gospel when you die

How does Latter-day Saints doctrine resolve the “soteriological problem”?

you can revieve the gospel after you die grace and works universal resurrection degrees of glory I have no idea if these are right

Understand how D&C 137 and 138 address the “soteriological problem.”

137: even those who didn't know the gospel in life can be saved if they would have accepted it 138: the gospel is preached in the spirit world, giving everyone a chance to accept it after death

-ww phelps did not have money to get something for JS birthday so he wrote him a poem??? -contributed to early lds thought and literature, reflecting on concepts like heavenly parents and eternal truths --published in the Times and Seasons newspaper 1840s the letter that JS wrote was about d&c 76 and was published in the times and seasons I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS RIGHT
