Why is France both a big and small country?
to European standards, France is a huge country. But to American standards, France is the size of Texas, thus small.

Hexagon. because it “looks like one” refer to as, and put in coins.

Departments. They have changed very little throughout the years.
What separation of France remains prominent today?
- Provinces. they were abolished during French Rev. but remain prominent in describing the nation’s geography.

- north colder, south better weather

- Russia burns all resources when hearing the French were coming.

- a prefect ( government appointed administrator) appointed by the central government
- arrondissement, cantons and communes (villages, towns and municipalities).
