Hymn to Hercules?

A

The speaker praises Heracles, the mighty son of Zeus and Alcmena from Thebes. Heracles performed many great and violent deeds under King Eurystheus across land and sea. Now, he lives happily on Mount Olympus, married to Hebe. The speaker ends by asking Heracles, son of Zeus, for success and prosperity.
