Preliminary tests:

A

VA:
* Occlude LE
* Read first letter of each line
* Terminate once 3 mistakes made
* Repeat Habitual/Unaided
Cover test:
* Px focuses on line 2 above acuity
* Unilateal:
○ Cover for 3 seconds and remove
○ Observe other eye for tropia or phoria
* Alternating:
○ Direction and magnitude of deviation
NPC:
* Distance of blur, fusion break, recovery
Pupils:
* Alternating: RAPD
* Unilateral:
○ RE light > RE constriction
○ RE light > LE constriction
Motility:
* Follow fixation in 8 gazes
* Record HH (Ticks - Pain/Dip)
Confrontation:
Finger counting in 4 quadrants

* Remove +0.25 for -0.50 Cyl
Best vision sphere:
* +0.25 Better/worse
* -0.25 Better/worse (must earn line)
* Blur check +1D loses 4 lines
JCC:
* Red = More minus
Remove +0.25 for -0.50 Cyl
