They do this through sourcing the best prospective candidates for office at all levels
Representing society
They do this by ensuring all groups are represented and have their demands met
Making policies
Every party is seeking to either replace the government or stay in power and be re-elected
Reinforcing consent
All Parties operate by supporting the current system of parliamentary democracy and this ensures the general public consents to the system
Educating the people
Inform people about the key issues of that day and give their own solutions
