You are defensive, at 300kts, and hostile goes no joy in your deep six with HCA less than 90 degrees with no height below.
Spend 10kts or so to try and pull hostile out of your 6. After 5 seconds or so call no joy, and action No Joy Gameplan.
Break towards last known position, dispense flares. Look out for hostile on or above horizon. Regain a little. Break again, dispensing flares every 5 seconds. 50p piece around the sky until you regain tally or KIO called.

Increase pull to mod buffet to try and pull hostile out of your 6, and get nose down to maintain speed. Dispense flares every 5 seconds.
Transition at base height. Then break periodically and dispense flares every 5 seconds to 50p piece around the sky until you regain tally or KIO is called.

Regain and sustain 300kts. Wait for geometry to pull hostile out of your 6.
You are offensive, outside the hostile’s turn circle and he breaks towards you.
BST cross on, Uncage, Good Tone, Fox 2.
Drive for POD.
Set LV, then enter turn circle at SLR explosion/ hostile reaches canopy bow.
Pull to sustain 330kts.
Assess nose position and rate advantage.
Rate advantage: Drive around the circle to weapons solution.
Stuck in lag: Low yoyo or misalign turn circles (if no ht below).
You are on the hostile’s turn circle, with rate advantage. You have one Fox 2 left.
Drive around the circle until hostile in kill picture. Pull moderate buffet to get BST cross on, take FOX 2 shot.
Keep the lead on to close in for guns.
Enter guns WEZ and control closure using airbrake, throttle, lag (in that order).
You are conducting a low yoyo and the hostile is approaching the offset kill picture. You have one Fox 2 left.
When hostile reaches kill picture, use moderate buffet to pull hostile into the HUD, take FOX 2 shot.
Keep the lead on to enter the guns WEZ.
Control closure using airbrake, throttle, lag (in that order).
