A
altering the defective genes (mutated alleles) inside cells to treat genetic disorders and cancer by inserting a DNA frag into a persons original DNA

A
involves altering the alleles in body cells, mainly the cells that are most affected. doesn’t affect sex cells so offspring may inherit the disorder

A
altering the alleles in the sex cells so offspring aren’t affected. illegal in humans
