Why CA?
My journey into the field of accountancy was driven by a genuine interest in the subject. Prior to pursing BBA, accounting wasn’t something I had much exposure to or familiarity with. However during my bba I discovered a genuine fascination with accounting, taxation and finance related subjects. This led me to seriously consider it as a potential career. Notably,My consistent high scores in these subjects throughout BBA boosted my confidence in pursuing this field.
I firmly believe that we should pursue the things we love. When we study what we love, it makes learning fun and not too hard. Even if something seems tough, liking it makes it easier to understand and do well.
Wanderlog
Wanderlog is the free planning app for any trip you might have in mind like vacation planner, itinerary planner, road trip planner. Create a trip itinerary, budget costs, organise flight and hotel reservations in one app. If you are planning a group travel then you can invite your friends and collaborate in real time. Trips can also be accessed offline. Good for the areas where you have a poor internet connection.
I am working as a virtual assistant or to be more precise a travel map creator. My primary task involves Reviewing different travel blogs, extracting the information that is present there, and transforming that textual information into visual maps. So basically I integrate travel blogs into the wanderlog platform. This integration aims to simplify travel planning for users by offering comprehensive and accurate data. Providing users a practical way to plan their journeys and navigate unfamiliar destinations
How are you growing?
I am growth oriented in a way that I believe in continuously improving myself both personally and professionally.
Throughout my academic journey I actively sought out opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills. Whether it was through internships, coursework or extra curricular activities. I was someone who had a fear of public speaking. So I always used to take part in activities such as debate competition, comparing for annual function.
I embrace each experience as a chance to develop and refine my abilities.
I also value feedback as a crucial tool for growth. Constructive criticism helps me identify areas for improvement and I see it as an opportunity to develop further.
Which characteristic of CA is important?
One of the most important characteristics is integrity. Integrity is essential because CAs deal with sensitive financial information, and stakeholders need to trust that their financial data is accurate and reliable. So upholding ethical standards and being transparent in financial reporting are critical aspects of the profession.
Conflict resolution
I was once a part of group consisting of 4 team members tasked with delivering presentation on specific topic. We divided the portions of presentation and started preparing after few days, the person scheduled to present fourth, she expressed reluctance. This quickly escalated into a significant conflict. In an effort to ensure the smooth progress of our work, I decided to be flexible and let her take my turn. This helped us to get through the work without any issues.
Weakness
One of my identified weaknesses is that I tend to underestimate myself at times. Despite having skills and capabilities to accomplish tasks I sometimes struggle with self doubt and may not fully recognize my own capabilities.
To address this weakness, I am actively working on building self confidence and adopting more positive mindset to acknowledge and appreciate my skills and achievements.
Another weakness is that I am bad at asking for help. I try to solve the problems on my own first. I am trying to overcome this thing by asking my peers through whatsapp groups if I have any sort of confusion.
Szabist Trade expo?
A trade exhibition in the city if Hyderabad. As a member of marketing team, I actively contributed to the event’s success through diverse marketing strategies. Our approach comprises of social media marketing where we strategically engaged our audience online. Additionally, we distributed informative brochures within Szabist premises ensuring widespread awareness among the academic community. To extend our reach we also targeted some restaurants and supermarkets to distribute the brochures.
We also went for digital marketing. Advertisement was also shown to the Screen that was situated on the famous road which gets busy at the time of 9 pm to 10 pm.
We also approached different bloggers of Hyderabad for our marketing campaign.
Retail extravaganza
Me and my team set up a sweet spot called Dessert D’affaire as a part of retail event organized at szabist. We offered range of delicious desserts to make the event more enjoyable.
Volunteer The Walkaway school
I have volunteered various times at The walkway school. This school was established for underdeveloped and long ignored communities usually from slums. So different students from different uni voluntarily participate and teach such students.
On part of szabist our task was to approach such students and teach them the difference between good touch and bad touch and self defence. Also raised funds for them.
Why AFF not other big 4s?
- I am eager to work for AFF due to its diverse range of clients. The prospect of being exposed to various clients is appealing to me as it presents excellent opportunity for learning and gaining valuable experience.
- Also I wanted to complete my articles as soon as possible. So If I got chance from AFF to join the earliest then I’ll definitely join it.
Agar anja tang kare ta
My brother is also currently employed here and consistently shares positive insight about the working environment. According to him, atmosphere of AFF is highly conducive and fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. His experiences has also influenced my decision.
