Root, flattened (minor) third, and a flattened (diminished) fifth of the scale.
Which direction do diminished chords resolve?
Resolves inwards by half step.
What type of chord does a diminished 5th resolve to?
Major 3rd
How to form a diminished 5th?
take the perfect fifth and lower it by one half-step
What is a perfect fourth?
4 Letter names consisting of two whole steps and one half step or 5 half steps.
What is a perfect fifth?
5 Letter names consisting of 7 half steps or three whole steps plus one half step.
What is an augmented fourth?
Pefect fourth and raising it one half-step
Is an augmented 4th the same as a diminished fifth just inverted?
Yes. The inversion determines the number of half steps between notes and determines if you resolve in or outward.

4 letter names and 3 whole steps

What is a dominant chord?
Chord starting on the dominant or fifth note in the scale.
C major scale dominant chord?
G Major.
True/False: Dominant chords create a pull towards the tonic?
True. Creates a sense of instability or tension that pushes the listener to tthe stable tonic chord (first note based chord).
