MORTALITY IN DIALYSIS PATIENTS
About one in

four patients with ESRD started on dialysis will die in the first year,

with the peak risk of death occurring at month 3.2

for those with severe AKI was 75%. The mortality rate for those

with uncontrolled recurrence or progression of their malignancy was
