Q

Cartilage and the types

A

Strong flexible connections tissue that protects your joint and bones
Types ;
Hyline: at the end of bone , btw your ribs, in your nasal passages
Elastic : wall of the external ear , your larynx
Fibrocartilage: btw vertebrae, meniscus in your knee, support muscles tendons ligaments

A

Where bone are bound by thought
Syndesmosis: btw parallel bones like radius and ulna , tibia and fibula

Q

Sybovial joint

A
  1. Articular cartilage: minimsing friction upon joint movement and absorbing shock
  2. Articular capsule : fibrous outer layer ( it protects external influences and limit the excessive movement of the joint) synovial inner layer ( is responsible for producing and secreting synovial fluid )
  3. Joint cavity: space btw joint face form by the joint capsule that envelopes the joint
  4. Reinforcing ligaments

Factional classification

A

Uninxed=more back and forth along single axis
Hinge joint→axis→ transverse (flexion and extension) ankle joint elbow knee joint
Pivot joint →axis→alongtudinal ( rotation) prox and dist radiolnar joint
Biaxiac= move about two distinct axis
Ellipsoidal joint →axis →transverse & A—p ( flex & extension +abd& add) wrist joint mphgeal joint mcarphgeal joint
Saddle joint →transverse $ AP( flex$ext+Abd$add)
Multiaxiac = mover through all three axes sternoclavicar joint fist carpometacarpal joint
