20
Q

What is the total quantity for gravity fueling?

21
Q

Minimum fuel for a go around?

A

24
Q

When must you operate airframe anti-icing systems?

A
  1. Visible moisture in the form of rain, snow, or visibility is less than 1 sm.
  2. Operating on contaminated surfaces.
25
Anti-Ice Operations On The Ground
OAT 10 C or below: L & R engine - on, wing - off. OAT 5 C or below & prior takeoff: L & R engine - on, wing - on.
26
In Flight TAT 10 C or below (unless -40 or below)
L & R engine - on, wing - on.
27
When must the WING anti-ice be selected ON?
If the ICE Detector EICAS message is displayed or in icing conditions and airspeed is below 210 kts.
28
Minimum temperature for L&R Engine / Wing icing on?
SAT -40 C.
29
Can we takeoff, land, and fly through freezing rain?
We can take off and land in -FZRA, -FRDZ, and FZFG. We cannot fly in freezing rain.
30
What is the maximum altitude for gear extended?
18,000 ft.
31
Can you use the Standby instrument localizer guidance for a back course?
No.
32
Is the standby compass reliable with the windshield heat on?
No.
33
Minimum oil Temp for starting the engines?
-40 C.
34
Minimum oil pressure at idle?
28 psi.
35
Engine Start limitations:
1. After 3 consecutive attempts then a 15 minute cooling off period prior to additional engine starts. 2. Engine must be motored for 30 seconds after an aborted start.
36
When does the main cabin door motor need to be allowed to cool?
After 3 door actuations in 3 minutes the motor needs to cool for 5 minutes.
37
Can the galley pocket door remain closed for takeoffs and landings?
The galley door (separating galley from main cabin) must remain open for takeoff and landings. The acoustic curtain must be secured in the open position for taxi, takeoffs, and landings.
38
Thrust reverser limitations
1. Ground operations on paved surfaces. 2. Deploy thrust reversers in flight. 3. Do not back up the aircraft with thrust reversers. 4. Do not deploy during touch and go operations. 5. Thrust above idle when below 40 knots is prohibited.
