What is the comms failure procedure for Culdrose?
In the event of comms fail, if unable to continue visually, climb on last assigned heading to 3500’ and attempt to freecall on any published freq.

What is meant by DUA?
Control of the area is passed to a nominated unit. FOST may use the area after liaison with the DUA authority. Culdrose are the controlling authority for D006 and mounts bay
What is meant by Prime User Status?
Culdrose holds Prime User Status for D006A (Fal bay North).
Air systems may use the area without booking when it is not notified as being used by FOST.
CU ops maintain a continuous block booking for C1, C2 and D1.
Where are the most suitable areas for pre-meditated ejection?
Lizard: heading East or West leeward of the lizard
Godrevey: heading 310 degrees.
What are the weather minima for FW vis, R/vis and instrument recoveries?
Vis: min 8km vis, cloud base less than 3/8 not below 2500’ (CC BLU)
R/vis: min 5km vis, cloud base 3/8 or more not below 1500’ (CC WHT)
Inst. recoveries: vis less than 5km, cloud base 3/8 or more below 1500’ (CC GRN or worse)
DATCO discretion.
