What initially sparked your interest in pursuing a career as a barrister?
Attended a talk by Phillippa Kaufmann KC in the second year of my LLB. She described some of the cases she has worked on throughout her career. She didn’t sugarcoat the profession and spoke about some of the challenges involved in a career at the Bar. However, the overarching message I took from that talk was that a career at the Bar sounded really exciting.
