The point at which the pressure is released inside the Earth.

The point on the ground surface immediately above the focus.

Continental Crust
Thicker, older, less dense, made of granite. (one type of crust)
Vent
Central tube which magma flows through.
Crater
Bowl-shaped basin on the top of a volcano.
Lava
Magma, once it reaches the surface of the volcano.
Magma chamber
Large underground pool of magma.
Oceanic Crust
Thinner, newer, more dense, made of basalt. (one type of crust)
