- Take med first thing in the morning with 6-8 oz of water (on empty stomach or at least 30 minutes before food or other medications) & remain upright for 30 minutes afterward * Headache, constipation, diarrhea, erosive esophagitis, bone pain, osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ), atypical femur fracture.
