What physical effect did WW1 have on Germany?
Farming was disrupted and the country was only producing about half as much as before the war. Food could not be imported because the British blockaded ports. German citizens were physically weakened and vulnerable to disease and illness
What political effect did WW1 have on Germany?
Politically the country was completely turned upside down. They had to find a new way of ruling their country after the Kaiser fled.
What psychological effect did WW1 have on Germany?
The people were bitter and angry, and looked for someone to blame.
Who were the ‘November Criminals’?
The nickname “November Criminals” was given to the German politicians who negotiated and signed the armistice which ended World War I in November of 1918.
