Some examples are Samuel, Nathan, Jeremiah and Ezekiel
5.What is oral tradition?
Over a period of nearly two thousand years the descendants of Abraham had many experiences of God. Their greatest experience of God occurred when God acted to rescue the people from slavery in Egypt. Before this experience was recorded in the Book of Exodus it was remembered and celebrated through story, song and ritual. Handing on knowledge of experiences of God in this way is called ‘oral tradition’.
