What are the three scopes of GHG?
A
Scope 1 = direct emissions that are owned or controlled by a company
Scope 2 = indirect emissions from the generation of purchased energy, heating or cooling (sources not owned or controlled)
scope 3 (optional) = all indirect emissions except from scope 2 that occur in the value chain of the reporting company (upstream and downstream, e.g. emissions from transport)
