Arable Farming
It comprises the economic activities and techniques relating to the treatment of soil and cultivation of land for food production.
Agrarian activities
They use a range of crop, livestock and forestry production systems.
Concentrated rural settlements
houses are grouped together and inhabitants have access to numerous services to satisfy their needs.
Scattered rural settlements
houses are isolated and people have to go outside of their area to get access to services.

it uses large factory ships with refrigeration.

they make the first changes to the raw materials to provide half-finished materials for other industries.
Capital good industries
machinery and large articles for the industry are produced.
Consumer goods industries
manufacture goods which are directly sold to the consumers.
Deindustralisation
it means leaving the original industrial areas and replacing the industries with others.
Functional reconversion
creating renovated areas and new city areas for tertiary sector businesses.
The tertiary sector
it involves activities that do not produce material goods but instead provide services.

it goes any distance and carries humans or objects.
sea transport
it uses container ships for heavy goods. It can be for humans or objects and usually goes long distance.
Air transport
it goes long-distance and transports humans or light goods.
Tourism
it refers to the movement of people away from their regular home, for leisure and more than a day.
Cultural tourism
it’s done for cultural and historical purposes.
Telecommunication systems
they are long-distance systems that use cables or electromagnetic waves.
