Congress
The national legislative body of a country
Executive Branch
Responsible for carrying out, or executing, the laws. The key member of the executive branch of the United States government is the President.
Legislative Branch
The branch of the government that writes, debates, and passes laws.
Judicial Branch
Decides cases involving United States Constitution and federal laws
Vice-President
An official or executive ranking below and deputizing for a president
Census
An official count or survey of a population, typically recording various details of individuals
Supreme Court
The highest judicial court in a country or state

The lower house of the United States Congress
Senate

Election
The act or process of choosing someone for a public office by voting

A body of people representing the states of the US, who formally cast votes for the election of the president and vice president.
Constitution
The system of fundamental principles according to which a nation, state, corporation, or the like, is governed. (Social code, Law)
Constitutional
of or relating to the constitution of a state, organization, etc.
Veto
The power or right vested in one branch of a government to cancel or postpone the decisions, enactments, etc., of another branch, especially the right of a president, governor, or other chief executive to reject bills passed by the legislature.
