What is ADH?
Anti-diuretic hormone
Helps control water balance of the body and effects the amount of Urine produced in the kidney.
Amino Acids
Molecules made up of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen that are the building blocks of proteins.
Atria
The upper chamber of the heart.
Basis (DNA)
Nitrogenous compounds that make up part of the structure of DNA and RNA. They are represented by the letters A,T,C and G
Aorta
The artery leaves the heart from the left ventricle and carries oxygenated blood to the body.
Alleles
Different forms of the same gene sometimes referred to as variants.
These two copies of the gene contained in your chromosomes influence the way your cells work. The two alleles in a gene pair are inherited, one from each parent.
