Mission statement:

Q

How are values important to the content of mission and vision statements?

A

The value will determine the method of achieving the goal.
e.g.
A company has the choice between raising prices or reducing its workforce. If the value is ‘good customer experience’, then prices will be increased. If the value is ‘providing the lowest possible prices’, then staffing numbers will be
cut.
