If PAPI or VASI then 1000 & 3 -No Wind Shear previous 20 mins -Vertical or Electronic guidance -Cannot accept if given clearance when less than 1000AGL -Not at night unless;Hold Short lights and approved vertical guidance -Must be on a stabilized approach -Must touchdown in first third ALD or Not beyond 3000' from runway end -Must review rejected landing proc. -No MEL's assoc. with stopping -Tailwind less than 3 knots - Captain's authority to accept -Capt. to determine ASAP after notification -Capt. will advise when unable to accept
32
If Atmospheric pressure greater than | 31.00 ?
Set 31.00 in barometer below 18000 Increase approach mins by 100 ft. & 1/4 visibility per .1 increase in pressure when determining alternates.
33
Low Barometric Pressure?
below 28.00 baro. Flight operations are prohibited if unable to set actual altimeter.
34
Aft Cargo Capacity? With Operational Ballast? With Thrust Reversers and Without Thrust Reversers restriction?
-2646 max -2366 with 280lbs of ops ballast Prior to loading aft cargo over.., 1764 for A/C with Thrust Reversers 2205 for A/C without we must.., Assure we have at least 2000lb fuel And no more than one person in baggage compartment

38
When do we need to list an alternate airport?
1-2-3 rule: 1 hour before to 1 hour after our ETA, weather is forecast to be less than 2000' ceiling or less than 3 miles visibility.
39
What does Trans States Airlines consider marginal weather?
When both destination and alternates weather is below 800' ceiling or 2 miles visibility.
40
How do we derive alternate minimums?
Single nav-aid, suitable approach -add 400ft and 1 mile visibility to the Multiple nav-aids, suitable approaches, different identifiers -add 200 ft and 1/2 mile visibility to the higher ceiling and visibility
41
What is the 3585 Exemption?
This exemption requires listing two alternates. With this we have the ability to take-off when our first alternate goes below minimums in the conditional language of the forecast, i.e., TEMPO, PROB or BECOM but only down to half of the derived minimums. The second alternate must be no lower than the derived minimums at ETA "golden."
42
What are the Green FO restrictions?
Captain must takeoff and land for: ``` Contaminated Surface Cross-wind >15 knots Special use airports Wind shear reported Visibility ```
43
