Who were the Edelweiss Pirates?
A
- City gangs of teenagers that rejected the Nazi regime and military discipline.
- Grew longer hair, girls & boys mixed and they often went on hikes whilst singing songs to mock Nazis
- Sometimes attacked Hitler Youth

Who were the Swing Youth?
A
- Wealthier teenagers who would wear American clothing and listen to American jazz
- Played illegal records and organised dances

A
- Agreement between Hitler and the Pope
- Catholics were free to worship and allowed to run their own schools if they stayed out of politics
- Hitler broke his promise (Catholic Youth groups banned, Christian symbols removed and priests opposing Nazis were sent to camps)

- PEL resisted joining Reich Church and continued to allow Jews to convert and to preach the Old Testament
