Sean in defense to Will relaying all that Sean has lost in life, he says hey at least I lived and I didnt hide. Idea that he will have more regrets if he hides than if he lives and gets hurt.

Chuckie says to Will about the opportunities he has access to and that he only avoids exploring those actions because he’s afraid of failure.
Not because he can’t do it but because he’s scared that if he fails it will prove the thoughts that he is worthless and undeserving of love and success will be proven true.
