Catacomb
underground passages and chambers, primarily used for religious purposes, particularly as burial places.
Incubus
a male demon who forces himself sexually upon mortal women as they sleep
Lamia
In classical mythology, the lamia was a female demon who devoured children.
The lamia is also a serpent demon, a fiend who takes the form of a beautiful woman to seduce (and later devour) men.
Gothic Parody
A form of satirical criticism or comic mockery that imitates the style and manners of a particular writer, often employing, self-consciously and ironically, the narrative devices of the Gothic
