3 crotchets in a bar (clapping rhythm - loud 1,2,3-) like a waltz
What are 4/4?
4 crotchets in a bar (clapping rhythm - loud 1,2,3,4-)
What are 6/8?
6 quavers in a bar (clapping rhyhtm - loud 1,2,3 break 4,5,6-)
quaver = 1 beat
crotchet = 2 beats
dotted crotchet = 3 beats
What is tonality?
major - minor - major

What is a perfect cadence?
v-I = sounds finished and has a strong ending (a perfect fifth)
What is a plagal cadence?
IV-I = sounds finished but slightly less assertive (a - men hymn)
What is an imperfect cadence?
?- V = Hangs there wanting to go on (like a comma)

V- VI = It’s a big SURPRISE! (not expected)
