Words that show action, occurrence, or state of being.

E: Elaborate on the topic sentence.
E: Evidence, this can be a quote.
E: Elaborate further - perhaps find another example that further supports your answer. Or explain how the piece of evidence you selected ‘proves’ your point.
L: Make a statement that tells us why that theme is important, or how it impacts the character.
