What does the は particle do?
Mark the topic, not necessarily subject
What does the が particle do?
Mark the subject
What does the も particle do?
Signifies an item/action/event that shares a common attribute with a previously mentioned item/action/event
eg.: two or more people perform the same activity, you go to two places, you do something on two different occasions, etc
What does the と particle do?
Ties two nouns together (A and B), or signals with whom an action was completed (I went somewhere with A)
What does the を particle do?
Marks the direct object
What does the particle に/へ do?
Marks a location destination of movement. Does not refer to doing something in that location.
What does the particle で do?
Marks the location of an action or object. Does not refer to movement towards the location.
