A
- Present simple, “Student achieve higher grades at school when they are interested in a subject.”
- Will: to highlight a trend or the repeated nature of someone’s behavior. “I’ll usually text my mum on my way home”.

What do we sue to show annoyance or disapproval of a present habit?
A
- Would: to empathize that someone’s behavior in annoying but expected. “She would eat my last yogurt without asking first”.
- Present continuous with always, forever, continually. “They’re forever talking about their new dog”
- Will: to talk about repeated annoying events. “He will leave the lid off the toothpaste”.

What do we use to talk about past habits that we have stopped doing?
A
- Past simple, “We visited a lot of museums on my childhood holidays”.
- Used to: for repeated events or situations, as well as ongoing States in the past. The specific time is unimportant. “They used to behave a lot better than they do now”.
- Would: describe repeated past actions, but not for States. “My mum would always make our breakfast.

Past continuous with an adverb of frequency. “He was always telling other children what to do”
