mnemonic: A-ghost, when you see a ghost you’re shocked and filled with fear and surprise

Inform, notify, or advise
mnemonic: imagine someone “lleva prisa” para informar o notificar algo.

Charm or captative, sometimes in a deceiving way
Mnemonic: Beware of the guy who smiles to trick you. Attract them to deceive them

A good thing; a blessing or a benefit
Boon is like bonus: something helpful

Emotionally unfeeling or insensitive
mnemonic: please call-us, don’t be insensitive and unfeeling

Pamper or treat with excessive care
mnemonic: coodle souns like cuddle

Lessening seriousness by providing excuses
mnemonic: Give (EX)-cuses to attenuate something

Fast-paced or wildly energetic

Unconventional, extreme, or marginal
mnemonic: it’s so cringe because it’s non-conventional and extreme

Unlucky or unfortunate
mnemonic: sounds like hopeless. When someone is so unluckt that hey have lost hope

mnemonic: someone puts (OB)stacles making a (FUS)s to compli(CATE) things, and make them unclear

Harden or become unchanging
mnemonic: ossify suena como óseo. Cuando te rompes un hueso te ponen un yeso, el cual se pone rígido-duro, imposibilitando que lo puedas cambiar.
Pastiche
A work that either imitates the style of multiple other works or combines elements from various works
mnemonic: pastiche-paste. We copy-paste, imitating someonelse’s work or style

Keenly perceptive or understanding
Ponderous
Heavy or slow-moving, often due to weight; extremely dull
Ponderous suena como ponderar, imagina una balanza. Balanza-peso. Slow moving because of weight

A person who lives in self-imposed isolation
mnemonic: re-closed. Closed=hermit

Take revenge or counteract
Retaliate sound like a type of italian pasta. Think of italian mafia. If you betray them, mafia will take revenge

An ecstatic expression or feeling or enthusiasm
Think in bohemian-rhapsody. A piece of music that has no formal structure and expresses powerful feelings

Occuring by chance in a fortunate way
Shirk
Avoid or neglect a responsability or duty
Mnemonic: think of shark, people avoid sharks
Sinecure
A job requiring minimal effort but offering a salary
