  • Adapt and be able to conduct operations across multiple environments or domains, particularly Air, Space and Cyber.
  1. RAF Spadeadam, (Cumbria)- Is the only Electronic
    • Warfare Tactics facility in Europe where aircrews can practise manoeuvres and tactics against a variety of threats and targets that they face in contemporary warfare
  2. RAF Flyingdales (North Yorkshire)
    • Uninterrupted ballistic missile early warning and space surveillance service to the UK and US.

    • Houses air surveillance and control systems
    • Helps to detect aircraft in uk airspace (control and reporting centre)
    • They alert a QRA in intercept aircraft.

A

RAF AKROTIRI (CYPRUS)

- Permanent joint operating base.
- Used as a forward operating base for ops we conduct in the middle east based there:
- No. 84 Squadron 
- No. 903 Expeditionary Air Wing
- Operation Shader 

RAF ACENSION ISLANDS (SOUTH ATLANTIC)

- 4000 miles from the UK
- Via Johannesburg
- used to help protect the UK's south Atlantic territories

RAF Gibraltar

- 4000m runway
- close to Africa
- used for Tri service training.

RAF, Mount Pleasant Falkland Islands
- establish a fighter and transport presence in the Islands
