• often zero privacy
• Smart cars and pacemakers also have additional ethical concerns

Also, acquiring control over IoT devices (often through bad Telnet configurations) is sought after for people looking to add devices to a botnet. Large numbers of vulnerable IoT devices can be handy for attackers looking to carry out large-scale DDoS attacks. The Mirai botnet is an example.
