What is the major scale

Natural minor scale
major scale with 3rd, 6th, and 7th notes all lowered a half-step
Relative minor scale
Starts with the six note of a major. If the 6th note of a major scale is A, it would be called the A relative minor scale
Harmonic Minor Scale
Major scale with 3rd and 7th notes both lowered a half step
Melodic minor scale
on the way up the third note is lowered, on the way down, it is the normal natural minor scale (3,6,7 notes all lowered half a step)
What are triads
3 note chords
built from the root, 3rd, and 5th of the major scale
