(2 cards)

Q
What’s the teaching?
A
- This Hadith teaches that removing or wanting to remove evil is a key trait of a true believer.
- Muslims are obligated not only to avoid evil themselves but also to prevent others from engaging in it.
- The Quran says, “You are the best of the people evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong and believing in Allah”
- Righteousness must be promoted and evil discouraged to maintain the moral health of the community.
- This duty applies to all, but especially to those in power—leaders, police, judiciary, and media. Staying silent in the face of evil is the weakest response.

Q
What’s the action?
A
- This Hadith encourages every Muslim to take part in removing evil and promoting good, regardless of their level of influence.
- Even small actions—like reporting electricity theft or confronting corruption—can contribute to positive change.
- If minor wrongs are ignored, they can lead to greater harm in society.
- The Prophet (P.B.U.H) said, “The best type of jihad is speaking a true word in front of a tyrant ruler.”
- He stood firmly against idol worship and injustice in Makkah, despite facing persecution.
- Muslims are taught not only to support victims of injustice but also to stop oppressors from committing wrongdoing.
