What is a elasticity test?
Shows whether hair is damaged or not. If hair stretches and returns to original length it is healthy, if it doesn’t stretch it’d not healthy
What’s a porosity test?
On dry hair, take a few hairs and slide your fingers along the hair shaft in the direction of the root, if the hair feels smooth, the hair isn’t porous and can proceed with chemical services
What’s a incompatibility test ?
Cut a small piece of hair, then place the hair into a mixture of peroxide, then leave for 20mins
Check for reaction such as bubbling, fizzing, if reaction does occur it’d not safe to carry out a service
What’s a strand test?
Take a few strands of hair, subject the strands to the same chemicals, to see if the hair will react badly or snap. Or lifts in a different way than expected
What’s a skin test?
Apply a small amount of the product on the skin , behind ear or on inner elbow, wait 48hours to see if you have allergic reaction , if not it is safe to proceed the service.
