A

dual blood supply from radial and ulnar arteries
both arches have an anastamoses

Superficial arch
- distal
- mainly from the ulnar artery
- supplies palmar digits and common palmar digital artery

Deep arch
- proximal
- mainly from the radial artery
- supplied thumb and index finger
