Availability heuristic
Basing judgments on the most readily available information
Example: Overestimating the danger of flying after hearing about
a plane crash, because it’s the most recent and vivid information

Like halo effect but also on negative effects
Operant Conditioning
Learning that occurs from negative and positive associations (NOT CONDITIONING)
Latent learning
learning that occurs without any form of reinforcement or conditioning.
Classical conditioning
Learning that occurs as a conditioned response
retroactive interference
a kind of interference that causes previously learned knowledge or skills to either be forgotten or be more difficult to retrieve.
Proactive interference
the ability to learn new information is distorted by old information that has been learned
Retrograde amnesia
Loss of ability to remember things and experiences from before a brain injury or illness
