what is Occipitofrontalis muscle
- Is a flat digastric muscle, with occipital and frontal bellies
- A- elevate the eyebrows and produce transverse wrinkles across the forehead

- Is a large muscle that surrounds each orbital orifice
and extends into each eyelid. - It closes the eyelids

- Contraction of this muscle narrows the mouth and closes the lips

- It is in the space between the mandible and the maxilla, deep to the other facial muscles in the area
- Compresses the check; helps keep food between grinding surfaces of teeth
