A

Always walk during class never run

Wipe up or clean messes immediately

Make sure saucepan handles face inwards and have a pot stand and some oven gloves ready to remove it from the ovens

A

Burn= caused by dry heat e.g. touching a hot grill

Scald= wet heat e.g. steam from kettle

What are the cooking utensils

A

Bowl scraper=removes mixture from bowl
Wooden spoon = stirs sweet food when cooking
Rolling pin = rolls out dough
Red spatula = stirs savoury food
Pot stand = used to rest hot pots on
Fruit board= used for cutting up fruits,veg cooked meat and bread on
Meat board = used for cutting up raw meat, onions and garlic
Tray= to place food on for the oven
Fruit knife = used to cut fruits and vegetables
Peeler= use to peel skin off fruits and vegetables
Grater= used to shred foods such as cheese and Carrots
Cooling tray= this allows air to circulate hot foods on
Measuring jug= measures liquids
Mixing bowl = used to mix larger ingredients in
Spoons= for mixing measuring and stirring small amounts of ingredients
Dishcloth and cloth= used to wipe around tables sinks and to dry dishes
