Hazards

A

Trip hazards: If you are using a tool you have plugged in, be careful of the chord! Remember to tuck any loose items
away before continuing work.

Faulty/broken: Check that equipment is safe to
use and will function correctly.
Double check equipment.
If something looks wrong, then
flag it with your teacher.

Human error:
Many errors happen because of our own mistakes. Not checking equipment properly
before use. Not ensuring safety guards and features are in place.
No PPE

Distracted: Keep your attention on your own
work when using machinery.
Stay focused so that you will not
make any mistakes
