What does health mean?
state of physical, social and mental well-being
Physical health
being disease free, eating and sleeping well, regular activity, limiting intake of harmful substances
Social health
how well you get on with others, and how surroundings affect you
Mental health
how you feel about yourself
Communicable
can be transmitted from one organism to another
Communicable examples
Tuberculosis, flu
Non-communicable
cannot be transmitted from one organism to another

heart disease, arthritis
what are the seven nutrients?
carbohydrates, fibre, fats protein, water, minerals, vitamins
what caused anemia?
lack of iron

lack of vitamin D or calcium

how are communicable diseases caused?
