Dietitians and Nutritionists

They educate and advise people on what they should eat to achieve a healthy lifestyle.

First- responders, provide transport to the hospital and medical help.

What is the role of a nurse?

Checking vitals, cleaning up, assisting doctors, maintaining the ward, carrying out tests and procedures, first point of contact for patients, focus on patient needs as opposed to disease / injury.

Medical Laboratory Scientists

Analyzes tissues, fluids and other samples

Nursing Aides, Orderlies, and Attendants

Provide basic care to patients and nursing home residents.

Occupational Therapists

Develop recover and improve the ability to perform everyday tasks

Physical Therapists

Help patients regain mobility and manage pain after an accident illness or surgery

What are physicians?

Physicians are doctors who have completed further training in a medical specialty to diagnose and manage complex medical problems.

Radiation Therapists

A radiation therapist administers radiation treatments to eradicate cancer and other diseases in patients.

Radiologic Technologists

As a radiologic technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams on patients. This includes x-rays, CT scans, and ultrasounds.

Pharmacist

In charge of dispensing prescription medications to patients and medical facilities. Extensive knowledge of chemistry and anatomy/physiology to determine if prescriptions will work well for a patient’s medical conditions and pre-existing drug uses.

General practitioner

They treat and diagnose diseases and injuries that patients commonly come across.
For specialized conditions, family practitioners will recommend specialists for patients to see.

Dentist

Dentists diagnose, treat, and prevent problems in a patient’s mouth, focusing on the teeth and gums. Also identify other oral conditions. Educate patients on how to take effective care of their teeth.

Nurse Practioner

Helps with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations. Educate patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments. Conduct physicals, order tests and serve as a patient's primary healthcare provider. Some nurse practitioners are also able to prescribe medications.

Surgeon

Performs invasive medical procedures on patients, usually to correct a medical condition.
