Negotiation: discussing the issue of a conflict to reach an agreement

Collaboration: a solution to a conflict in which both sides work together to get what they want without having to give something up
Mediation: process in which another person listens to both sides of a conflict and offers solutions
Peer mediation: when the mediator is someone of similar age
