it connects the middle ear to the throat and equalizes pressure

muscles in the throat
what is the cochlea?
a snail shaped bony structure in the middle ear
what are the 3 regions of the cochlea?
the scala vestibuli, cochlear duct, scala tympani

the hair cells that contain microvili
